Boarding

Shadow Oaks is pleased to offer full-service boarding to Amador County!  All boarders have access to:

  • A very large lighted arena
  • 1 round pen
  • Warm-up ring (currently being restored)
  • Tack Storage
  • Grain Storage
  • Grooming, saddling, and bathing areas
  • Trailer parking (space permitting)
  • 35 acres to ride on, including parts of the neighboring canyon, the rural road, etc.
  • Trail obstacle course (coming soon)

Stall Boarding

  • 12′ x 12′ stall
  • 12′ x 30′ pipe-corral runout
  • Fully matted
  • High quality, safe, in-stall feeder
  • Good quality hay fed twice daily
  • Automatic water tank
  • Feeding of owner provided grain and supplements (must be pre-bagged)
  • Manure removed daily
  • Pasture turnout service available (weather and conditions permitting)
  • Bedding is not included

 

Large Paddocks

  • 20′ x 60′ runs
  • 4-bar panel fencing
  • 12′ x 12′ shelter with mats
  • Feeder bin and automatic water tank
  • Good quality hay fed twice daily
  • Manure removed daily
  • Feeding of owner provided grain and supplements (must be pre-bagged)


Large Runs / Mini Pastures

  • 50′ x 180′ runs
  • Horse safe no-climb fencing
  • Good quality hay fed twice daily
  • Feeding of owner provided grain and supplements (must be pre-bagged)

 

 Pasture Boarding

  • Horses are checked on multiple times daily and fed hay as needed based on time of year
  • Automatic water tank
